Entertainment Ideas

One of those key moments post wedding, is entertaining your guests! Even when you’re getting photographs done it’s important to think about how your guests will be spending this time. We love the different ideas people have incorporated into their day and we have selected our favourite ones to share with you.

Dressing Up!

We know how it sounds, you’re already dressed up in your best for the wedding what could we be thinking of. But here’s what we mean, have a dressing up box with fun props in, moustaches, tiaras, flowers, feather boas, glasses, the list goes on and on! This is a great way for your guests to keep themselves entertained, makes lots of memories and it doesn’t have to be expensive.

You can have a designated area with the dressing up box and if you don’t want a photo-booth, then try disposable cameras (if you like a bit of old school vibes) or get guests to use their phones and have an assigned wedding hashtag so you don’t miss anything! It’s fun and it doesn’t have to cost you!

Giant Games

Now this has two elements, cost and space!
Dependent on theme as well you can go down different routes, giant jenga and chess, skittles or the more physical giant games like inflatable pugil stick battle or even a mechanical bull (if that’s what you want). No matter the age, everyone wants a go with these things, they’re such good fun!  Costs vary with this but always check with your venue see if they have any suppliers they can put you in touch with and provide a discount or suggestion. Everyone has a great time with giant games, a lot of laughter and a lot of involvement everyone wants a go!

Karaoke

Not everyone is a dancer and so it’s always nice to provide an alternative source of entertainment for those guests. You know you and your partner and your guests best so if this is a fit, we love the idea! It’s an idea to keep this in a separate room (it doesn’t have to be big) so your other guests can enjoy dancing or just having a chat. Keeping your guests happy, after the evening has gone on a little while you may be surprised at who joins in!
