‘Something Blue’ Ideas for your Wedding

“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, a sixpence in your shoe,” the old English rhyme with origins of wedding day good luck charms.

Something old, reflecting the past; maybe where you and your partner met or your parents. Something new represents the future; a wedding present from your family or it could even be your wedding dress itself. Something borrowed is to symbolise borrowed happiness to kick start married life. This could be a necklace your Nan has that you absolutely love or something your Mother-in-law wore on her wedding day. Sixpence in your shoe is a British thing but don’t threat, there are plenty of places you can still buy a sixpence online. The purpose of the sixpence is that it represents good fortune.

But this post is all about SOMETHING BLUE!
Here are some of our favourite ideas!
